Healing through connection
I offer a safe and client centered counseling space for you to explore and be
curious; to create greater self-acceptance and learn new skills to create emotional wellness.
As an LPC/LMHC trained in art therapy and a yoga instructor, I am able to offer experiential therapies, mindfulness, as well as breath and movement work to promote healing. It is my hope that through our work together you will feel felt, heard and nurtured.
Over the past 25 years, I have worked with children and adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I am deeply committed to working with clients who have experienced loss and help them with their journey.
I taught in the Graduate Art Therapy program at Marylhurst University and have presented numerous trainings on trauma, human development, self-care, and attachment theory. I am trained in the Neurobiology of Trauma, Neurosequential Model, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and am Certified in Positive Discipline, and Circle of Security.
Originally from the mid-west, I moved to Oregon in the 90s and fell in love with the beauty of the PNW and have made it my home. I enjoy, reading, hiking, listening to music, teaching yoga and connecting with friends. My spouse and I are proud parents to a teenage boy and a 6 year old pitbull rescue named Pete.
